About Life Source Services
Life Source Services was established in 2002 and is certified and licensed in the state of Louisiana. Life Source Services is a member of the Louisiana and Mississippi Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (LMHPCO) and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).
Life Source Services is overseen by a group of professional and experienced physicians who guide the care provided to our patients. Our physicians are available 24/7 and actively participate in interdisciplinary group meetings. Having physicians available to assist with day to day needs results in prompt and proficient care of our patients, with the focus on comfort and symptom management.
Life Source Services recently added several Nurse Practitioners (NPs) who provide services to our patients by making visits to the patients' homes, nursing homes or assisted living facilities. The NPs are responsible for determining the continued need of hospice services for each hospice patient.
Life Source Services provides care to patients within a 50-mile radius of the Baton Rouge office to include the following parishes:

- Iberville
- Point Coupee
- St. James
- West Baton Rouge
- Assumption
- East Feliciana
- Livingston
- St. Helena
- Tangipahoa
- West Feliciana
